Every approved class settlement has one court-appointed administrator running the official claims site. That site is named in the settlement notice and in the court order granting preliminary approval. It is the only place a claim can be validly submitted.
Sites that collect your details and promise to file on your behalf are not part of the process. At best they duplicate what you can do yourself for free; at worst they are harvesting personal data.
What You Usually Need
An account identifier or email associated with the purchases, the claim number from the notice if you received one, and in some cases a sworn statement of purchase. Documentary proof is often not required below a stated cap.
The Deadline Is Absolute
Claim submission dates are strict. A late claim is normally rejected even where eligibility is not in doubt, and you remain bound by the release. This is why most eligible people in consumer settlements recover nothing.
